You have a gun and want to be able to protect yourself and your loved ones more effectively at home or in public. This course covers the basic skills and knowledge required to confidently step out into the real world while armed. This class will have very little classroom time, the majority of the class will be conducted on the range. Students must be physically capable and in good health. Pistols and support gear are available for rent.

Gear requirements:
Suitable Handgun (.380 cal or greater)
Suitable Holster (No Serpa unless issued by employer)
Minimum 3 magazines or speed loaders (more is better)
Eye and Ear Protection (filtered/powered ear pro highly recommended)
Brimmed hat (baseball cap)
300 rounds of factory FMJ ammo unless required to use issued duty ammunition (more is better)
Bring a food for a working lunch
No open toe shoes.
