DESCRIPTION:360 Performance Shooting’s Shotgun 360 is our flagship shotgun program.\nThis program is designed to provide law enforcement and defensive minded shooters with the knowledge and skills to effectively and confidently wield one of the most powerful tools available for personal and home defense as well as duty use. \nSign up here.\nInstructors: \nAshton Ray and Tim Chandler\nAfter refreshing the fundamentals of shotgunning we will briskly proceed to more advanced material\, including: \nUse of Cover and Concealment\, including addressing corners \nMovement and shooting on the move \nLow Light Techniques with weapon mounted lights and emergency use of hand held lights. \nOther topics to include: \nAmmunition design and performance including\, patterning\, slug performance and ammunition performance through intermediate barriers. \nShotgun gear selection for specific applications\, eg. home defense\, property/business defense\, and law enforcement. \nIn depth discussion of shotgun maintenance \nGear requirements/recommendations: \nAt least 500 rounds birdshot or buckshot \nAt least 50 rounds buckshot \nAt least 25 slugs \n50 rounds of pistol ammunition \nMore ammunition is better\, feel free to bring more as class size and pace can easily allow for more shooting. If you plan to use birdshot\, ensure your firearm operates reliably on low recoil ammuniton. \nSuitable defensive or duty shotgun\, weapon mounted light highly recommended. \nEye and Ear Protection (filtered/powered ear pro highly recommended) \n2 Point shotgun sling highly recommended \nSuitable issued duty rig recommended for law enforcement \nOutside the waistband holster highly recommended. DESCRIPTION:As Co-Intructor working with Tim Chandler \nShotgun Skills builds upon the fundamentals taught in Home Defense Shotgun. The basics will be reinforced\, but students will be pushed to improve speed and accuracy with the shotgun on single targets\, challenging multiple target arrays\, and in competitive timed shooting. Shotgun Skills will also cover the application and use of slugs\, use of the shotgun in close quarters\, and the basics of approaching corners with a long gun.
